These whimsical “Tweet-Hearts” by Tonya Rund are perfect for an office or on a mantle. Made of clay, copper and a cute little (real) feather.
Tonya Rund is a clay artist residing in Muskegon, Michigan. Her ceramic work takes many shapes and evokes many emotions. Especially reflecting our surroundings and lakeshore. Her birch tree panels and wall shields are distinctively West Michigan. The combination of organics such as wood and clay creates a visual that will be a great part of your permanent collection.
The elements represented in her work are nature, earth , sky, light and dark. One of the most popular items in the Gallery are Tonya’s birds. Created from clay and copper, these whimsical creatures have distinct personalities. As a result, many of our customers have a flock of them. They can be enjoyed in the home or as part of an outdoor sculpture park.
